RV Flattery
We are seeking a charter for our Dive Support Vessel Cape Flattery. Originally built for the United Stated Navy in 1990 at a cost of 20 million dollars. The Cape Flattery was originally built as a Torpedo test craft and features the highest quality machinery and equipment. The vessel is 187’ x 40’. The Flattery is powered by a 16 cylinder Cummins kta 50 and 3 Cummins 1728 650 kw generators. Maneuverability is accomplished via 2 300 h.p. Ulstien z-drives and a 400 h.p. omni bow thruster. The vessel has accommodations for 36 persons with separate accommodations for female crew and passengers. Equipment includes:
1 x 3 ton knuckle boom 36’ reach - 1 x 20-ton crane 72’ reach - 4 traction winches (20,000 lbs of pull each) for 4 point more one mile of line each - 1 x 10-ton anchor winch - Machine shop - 2 laboratories with deck access - Below deck storage for submarine or r.o.v. - 15 k.w. Uninterrupted power source - 700 sq feet of laboratory space - Large back deck - Large below deck dry storage - 60 day duration
The Cape Flattery is A.B.S. classed with a load line and also is Coast Guard Certified 496 gross tons. G.M.D.S.S. equipped.
